You do not have to load any software on your computer. Everything works through your Netscape or Microsoft browser (3.0 or higher release).
With Patient Net a rehabilitation facility can:
- Enter bed availability projections up to 7 days.
- Enter wait list times, if appropriate.
- Define bed types and availability: male, female, shared, and single.
- Respond to a hospital e-mail request to reserve a specific room or bed type. Patient background data is included.
- Receive medical records in a secure, encrypted format from a hospital.
- Choose to display to hospitals the actual number of available beds or just a simple yes/no of available beds.
- Maintain and update contacts at hospitals for e-mails and phone numbers.
